Ultrasonic inspection
You can rely on aluminum products made in Unna. Only those products which comply with our very stringent quality guidelines will be released to our customers. By a process of Continuous Improvement, we have enhanced our Quality Management System with special regard to the requirements of the aerospace industry. Since 2007, when we have been audited by DQS, our approval fully complies with EN 9100 and, of course, for many years previous, to DIN ISO 9001:2000.
Here in Unna we perform all necessary testing methods prior to final release. Depending upon the specification or specific customer requirements we can also perform in house non-destructive testing such as Eddy-current or Ultrasonic inspection to internationally recognised standards, in addition to routine tensile and hardness testing. Microscopic analysis to examine the microstructure takes place in our fully equipped metallurgical laboratory.
In consultation with our customers, the possibility also exists for additional testing and quality checks. Your material needs to be approved by an independent classification society? No problem. We can offer this service on request.
